TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lady Priestley, 17 Hertford Street, Mayfair
Date23 July 1895
DescriptionThe Society's porter seems to be under the impression that Lady Priestley is arranging for the use of the Society's rooms on the 29 [July]. Rix writes to call attention to the terms of the Society's letter to Sir William Priestley dated 25 February in which the rooms are lent from 30 July to 3 August inclusive. On the 29 July the Society's rooms are in use for the Huxley Memorial which has already been advertised in the press. This should however finish by 6pm. Asks to know by the bearer of this or telegram if Lady Priestley foresees any problem.
