TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Chairman, Physical Education Committee, School Board, Victoria Embankment, W.C.
Date23 July 1895
DescriptionThe Chairman's letter of the 8th, addressed to Lord Kelvin [William Thomson], at Hand Place, has only just arrived at the Society. This was a temporary address which Kelvin left more than a year ago. Rix is sure his Lordship will regret that he could not take up the invitation. Kelvin is presently abroad but would certainly desire to remove the impression that he had neglected to answer the Chairman's letter.
