TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date8 April 1895
DescriptionProfessor [Harry] Marshall Ward has been in and made a further reduction in his illustrations, whereupon Mr Collings has made a new estimate at £36-10-0 as against £53. Asks to know if the new estimate can be accepted and the diagrams put in hand.

Rix has sent Foster's note to Professor [Edwin Ray] Lankester regarding MacBride.

Professor Balfour has reported upon [William Crawford] Williamson & [Dukinfield Henry] Scott and Rix has proceeded to obtain estimates. Scott seems to prefer Messrs Edkins again as the artists.

[Charles A] Ballance and [Samuel George] Shattock's paper has come back with the abstract and Rix asks if he should communicate with the authors.
