TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr J H Knowles, 15 Rush Hill Road, S.W.
Date25 July 1895
DescriptionRix is sorry he did not see Knowles yesterday but Knowles will note that Rix distinctly said Friday, Monday or Tuesday. Rix means to have explained that the Treasurer [John Evans] is abroad and he will not return till the end of August. Rix cannot do anything without the Treasurer and it is of course a question whether Knowles cares to leave his manuscript with the Society for so long. Rix doubts whether any of the writing is Newton's but the manuscript is interesting all the same.
