TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Henry James Chaney, Standards Department, Board of Trade
Date29 July 1895
DescriptionIn reply to Chaney's letter, it is very difficult to get Russian scientific papers translated and if Chaney can persuade Dr Blumbach to translate Professor Mendeleeff's paper, this will not only save delay in the reading and publication, but ensure accuracy. It would be interesting to have the original as well as the translation if both could be sent in as the Society preserves the autographs of all papers which they publish and set great store by them.
