DescriptionConcerning the Government Grant. In reply to Scott-Elliot's letter of the 9th, the decisions of the Government Grant Committee have to be satisfied by the President and Council of the Society. It is the business of the latter to carry out such decisions of the former as they approve.
Foster is a secretary of the Society and is in charge of the business of Council in respect to the Government Grant Committee and it was as such that he wrote on the 7th August in reply to Scott-Elliot's letter of the 3 August, addressed to the Secretary of the Government Grant Committee.
