TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Monsieur P Otlet, Conférence Bibliographique Internationale, Hotel Ravenstein, Brussels
Date15 August 1895
DescriptionFoster much regrets that owing to it being vacation and the shortness of Otlet's notice, it will be impossible to send any representative of the Royal Society to the proposed conference.

From correspondence which has already taken place Otlet is aware of the proposals made by the Royal Society for a catalogue of scientific literature. Since the Society's undertaking is more or less akin to Otlet's own, Foster ventures to send a report made by a Committee to the President and Council of the Royal Society and a letter which Foster has been directed to address to the Marquess of Salisbury [no attachments, see NLB/11/621 for the latter].
