TitleCopy letter from John Kirk, to Mr George Francis Scott-Elliot
Date4 September 1895
DescriptionProfessor Michael Foster is now abroad and Scott-Elliot's letter that reached Burlington House on the 2 [September] has been forwarded to Kirk to deal with.

Kirk asks if Scott-Elliot thinks this is a good opportunity for them to come to some definite settlement. All Kirk should think is essential is that ultimately a complete set of Scott-Elliot's plants should be deposited in Kew Herbarium and that in the mean time those working out individual orders shall have an opportunity to incorporate Scott-Elliot's plants in the Flora of Tropical Africa.

Kirk will be in London on Thursday and could meet Scott-Elliot at Burlington House at 11am if that would be suitable.
