TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, 15 Lombard Street, E.C.
Date24 September 1895
DescriptionOn the 22nd and 23rd of March Messrs Prescott and Company paid the Messrs £4, the annual contribution of Dr Hughlings Jackson. This was not entered in the Society's pass-book, and the Society accordingly applied to Dr Jackson for payment. Messrs Prescott then communicated with the Messrs who admitted the error and promised to set it right.

Apparently the error never was set right and the pass-book still shows no sum of £4 from Dr Jackson or from Messrs Presscott. Dr Jackson is now annoyed that the Society has applied to him a second time for a payment which ought to have been received from the Messrs last March.

Asks the Messrs to investigate and report how matters stand.
