TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date10 October 1895
DescriptionThe President [Lord Kelvin, William Thomson], writes this morning that he cannot come on the 17th as he will be in Paris for the Centenary of the Institute and will be much obliged if Evans will preside at Council.

Mr Howard has given notice to quite Mablethorpe on the 25th March and Rix asks if he should acquaint Smith and Oakley of this.

Mr Knowles writes that he thinks his manuscript of 'Principia' would be cheap at six guineas. Asks if he is to purchase at that price.
