| Description | Foster regrets that the Royal Society has not in its possession any copies of the 'Challenger' report for presentation. The Society was asked by the Government to prepare a list of institutions to which it recommended copies of the report should be presented but that list was prepared and sent in some time ago and the matter has now passed out of the Society's hands.
Should the Society be consulted in future as to further presentations the claims of Lütken's valuable institution shall he borne in mind. |
