TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date6 December 1895
DescriptionRix states that Foster will have received his telegram concerning the forthcoming visit of M Otlet on 12 December, and incloses his letter which requires confirmation.

He reminds Foster that committees have recently been appointed from January to January, and asks whether he believes Rix should, as a consequence, summon the old Committee for the following Thursday. He has kept back summonses for Darwin and [Edwin Ray] Lankester as they have been omitted from the new Committee, so Rix won't post them unless instructed to do so. He further notes that he has not sent any for [Andrew Russell] Forsyth and [William Thomas] Blanford, and in a postscript asks whether they were added, as Foster's list is unclear.
