TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Crown Agents for the Colonies
Date9 December 1895
DescriptionRix, with reference to their letter of 9 November, thanks them for their instructions regarding the packing of the microscope for Dr Wordsworth Poole, which they have attempted to follow exactly. The case has been addressed in accordance with their instructions and is delivered to their care, with the total value of the microscope and appliances noted as 21 pounds.

Rix encloses a letter to Poole which gives the particulars of the microscope and lenses, and asks that they forward this to him with the case.

He also thanks them for the offer to cover the cost of packing, but declines, noting that packing instructions were all that they required from them.
