Description'Dear Professor Howes,
Mr Geo [George] Matthey, F.R.S.; (Cheque House, Chelsea Embankment) has included a payment to the Huxley Meml [Memorial] in a cheque to the RS. I have passed the letter thro' [through] my private a/c [account] in order to split it, & I am send the £5-5-0 which Mr Matthey desires to contribute to the Huxley Meml. Please send the receipt direct to him.
