TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Clay & Sons, Ave Maria Lane, E.C.
Date9 January 1896
DescriptionRix returns the proof of volume XI of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers', and states that with the alteration of the date at the foot it appears to be correct. However, with future volumes, full-stops should be used as on the morocco covers, for instance stops after 'Papers', 'XI' and 'Zyb'. Currently, the cloth and morocco covers differ in this respect. These changes should not be introduced yet, as the cloth covers must be uniform with IX and X.

In response to their question of 4 January, the distribution of the presentation copies of volume XI will be the same as volume X, except that the Natural History Museum will have six copies.

They will shortly send labels to be inserted in each volume, as well as labels for addressing the parcels.
