TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Herrn Professor Dr Karl Weierstrass, Foreign Member of the Royal Society
Date19 November 1895
DescriptionRix notes their regret that Weierstrass will be unable to receive his Copley Medal in person on 30 November, but he is pleased to inform him that the German Ambassador has consented to attend the meeting at the Royal Society to receive it on his behalf. He believes it will then be transmitted to Weierstrass in due course.

In the meantime, Rix sends a cheque for 50 pounds, the gift which annually accompanies the Medal, and asks that he sign the accompanying form of receipt and return it.
