TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs [Maria Matilda Ogilvie] Gordon, 421 Union Street, Aberdeen
Date17 February 1896
Description'Dear Madam,
Many thanks for your note of the 15th. We have sent the instalments of copy to press immediately upon their receipt from you. The printers have about half the paper in hand. I wish we had known about the explanations to the figures beforehand, as this instruction may now cause some re-making. Will it not be possible in sending us back the remaining instalments of copy to write in the explanation to each figure that it may be at once set up? However, I will give the printers instruction to leave some small space.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
