TitleCopy letter from an unknown correspondent, to Mr Collings
Date24 March 1896
DescriptionIn reference to Collings' estimate of 12 March, it is reported that Professor [William Chandler] Roberts-Austen had decided that 'Plate III' will become 'Plate II', and is to be printed the same same as the original from the zinco on plate paper. The two remaining figures currently marked 'Plate II' are to be reduced to go in the text. Roberts-Austen will call on them the next day to give instructions, and they are not to begin work until he has seen them.

Once Roberts-Austen has visited, they will ask for a new estimate, and also an estimate for the five small figures inclosed for the same paper, with the assumption that the photograph will be done as a half-tone block.
