DescriptionFoster reports that the President and Council of the Royal Society considered a request made in a letter from the Secretary of the Linnean Society, and wish to obtain the opinion of the Botany[?] Committee. Foster asks that Dyer consult with his committee, and then inform the President and Council of their decision, namely whether any assistance should be granted towards the publication of the late John Ball's paper from the Publication Fund, and if so whether the whole sum of £120 or a smaller sum should be contributed.
