DescriptionHarrison responds to Coutini's letter of 8 May to state that the standard life of Newton is 'Memoirs of the Life, Writings and Discoveries of Sir Isaac Newton' by Sir David Brewster, an octavo publication in two volumes, with editions having been published in 1855, 1860 and 1875. They also have a small biography 'Cabinet Portrait Gallery of British Worthies' by Professor De Morgan, published in 1846, and one in Italian ''Elogio del Cav. Isaaci Newton' by Abbate Paolo Frisi, an octavo publication consisting of 132 pages and published in Milan in 1778.
