TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date15 May 1896
DescriptionHarrison encloses a letter from Mr Symons covering one from Captain Wilson Barker requesting Soiree tickets, and asks for instructions.

He also encloses a typewritten draft of Foster's statement on the "stages" of papers, which he has marked in pencil with the aspect in which each paper will present itself for the agenda of the several Sectional Committees.

Foster's statement has been copied out by Mr Chapman, but Harrison has also appended the same information in tabular form, which he believes will lend itself more readily to clear printing and will save expense when statements are repeated. He asks for Foster's views on this, and that he return the draft tomorrow to allow him to have it in type by Tuesday afternoon in readiness to be circulated to Council on Tuesday evening.
