TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Horace Lamb, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 May 1896
DescriptionHarrison notes that the enclosed paper by George Frederick Charles Searle on 'Problems in Electric Convection' has been accepted and an abstract ordered for reading and publication in 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'.

He has been directed by the Chairman of the Sectional Committee for Physics and Chemistry to ask Lamb to provide his written opinion on the full paper, considering: if it should be published in 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'; whether it should be published in full or in part, and if the latter, he asks that the relevant sections be indicated; whether any changes are necessary or desirable, and of what type they are; which illustrations should be reproduced.

Harrison states that the Committee would be helped if the report could be submitted by 11 June. If this is not possible, he asks that Lamb inform them of this.
