TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date23 May 1896
DescriptionHarrison suggests that Foster would like to see the enclosed letter from the Admiralty, and if he approves of Joseph Norman Lockyer being informed immediately he suggests that Foster sign the accompanying letter and send it to him.

A letter of Richard Tetley Glazebrook requests Harrison send him the referees' reports on George Frederick Charles Searle's paper which was before his Committee that week. He has done so, but would like Foster's authority for this as it is an unusual way of proceeding. Harrison's hopes of leaving early to travel to the county have been frustrated by things Glazebrook has asked him to do.
