TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date22 June 1896
DescriptionThere is a complication in detail connected with the division of the cost of salaries between the Catalogue work and the Index Rerun work which Harrison thinks might be remedied if Evans approves.

Asks if the assistants who are recognised as belonging to one or the other department respectively may be considered as always paid out of the funds of their recognised departments, and simply regarded as lent by the one to other as occasion requires.
