TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Miss Chambers, Catalogue Department, [Royal Society]
Date1 July 1896
DescriptionHarrison has mentioned the question Chambers raised yesterday to the Treasurer [John Evans], who quite concurs with him in thinking that there is no reason for interrupting the progress of the cutting and pasting for the Index, which had better go on with volume seven. Harrison would imagine that this particular part of the work does not require Miss Turner's personal superintendence.

Encloses some ruled slips [not attached] for use as requisitions for wages each week. Asks to have these every Friday by noon and Harrison will arrange to have the wages ready. Details the information that should be entered on each slip.
