TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date7 July 1896
DescriptionHarrison has Evans' note. As Harrison understands, the Pasteur Memorial Fund is not a Royal Society account and he presumes he must not draw the cheque Evans asks for from the Royal Society cheque book. He has therefore written to Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, asking them to send a cheque on this account direct for Evans' signature.

Encloses for Evans' signature two cheques drawn, one in favour of Professor Percy Frankland, the other in favour of Dr [Alfredo Antunes] Kanthack, on the authority of resolutions of the Water Research Committee, copies of which he also encloses.

Encloses a letter received from Mr Dyer with enclosures regarding Scientific Relief.

Encloses for signature a cheque on the Carrington Donation account, in accordance with the accompanying letter. [No attachments].
