Description'I have to ask you to furnish me, at your early convenience, with a full statement of the claims which you desire to put forward on behalf of Prof. Lenard for the Rumford Medal, and on behalf of Prof. [Henri] Moissan for the Davy Medal.

I enclose a statement [not attached] made on behalf of Prof. Moissan on a previous occasion by Dr. Thorpe, and, if you prefer to adopt this form of claim, it is open to you to do so with the sanction of the original proposer.
