TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], Secretary, Royal Society
Date23 September 1896
DescriptionSends thanks for Rayleigh's note regarding [Ernest William] Hobson's paper. The memorandum left with Harrison on the subject is not very clear but Harrison thinks that the paper was received from Rayleigh before Harrison's return and has gone on to the printers, and that it was only the index-slip, now received, that was wanting.

The final proof of [Joseph Nprman] Lockyer on the eclipse of 1893 has come in from the author, but as it will probably be some time before the plates are ready, Harrison does not know that it is worth while troubling Rayleigh with the text at this moment unless he wishes to have it.
