TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date7 October 1896
DescriptionThe Treasury having paid half of the promised contribution to the Publication Fund, Harrison has been looking up the people to whom grants have already been voted in anticipation of the Treasury's payment. With regard to two of these grants, Harrison finds no definite resolution either in the minutes of the Committee of Papers or in the Minutes of Council, and he does not feel justified in drawing cheques without the authority of a distinct minute. Asks if Evans will tell him how to proceed.
