DescriptionWith reference to Pentland's application for the exchange of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' with the 'Edinburgh Medical Journal', and to number of that Journal which Pentland has been good enough to send to the Society, Harrison is directed to say that the publication belongs to a category of technical science which the Society is compelled by want of room not to include in its library. Pentland regrets that he is not at liberty to enter into the arrangement desired.
