TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr J A Murray, Oxford
Date3 November 1896
DescriptionApologises that he was not able to deliver the note to Professor Barrett which Harrison received from Murray on Friday. There was no meeting of the Society on that day and to his knowledge no arrangement has been made for the reading of a paper on the subject Murray mentioned at the time.

Harrison thought Murray's letter might have been sent to the Society by mistake and intended for another institution. He therefore made enquiries with both the Royal Institution and London Institution but neither had lectures for that evening. Harrison would have returned the letter sooner but has been very busy.
