DescriptionStrutt is directed to request that Seymour would, in continuance of his kind favours, give instructions for the striking of the Royal Society's Copley, Rumford, Davy and Darwin Medals. They will be required for presentation on November 30th. The names are: for the Copley, Carl Gegenbaur; for the Rumford, Philipp Lenard and Wilhem Conrad Rontgen; and for the Davy, Henri Moissan. The Darwin Medal is to be of silver and the inscription is stated. Cases will be required.
