DescriptionWoodward's letter of the 4 November has remained unanswered up to the present on account of pressure of work, but Harrison now has the pleasure of informing Woodward that W E Shuckard was appointed librarian of the Royal Society on 2 April 1835 and it was resolved on 9 November 1843 that his "future services be dispensed with".
