TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date11 November 1896
DescriptionHarrison hopes to have a revise of the Geodetic Letter for Foster by tomorrow.

Acting at Foster's instruction, Harrison has included Sir G Baden Powell's account of the eclipse at Novaya Zemlya in the list of papers for the 19th, but Mr [Joseph Norman] Lockyer, who sent Harrison the title of that paper this morning as communicated by himself, sent at the same time for inclusion at the same meeting, the title of a 'Preliminary Report on the Results obtained during the Total Eclipse of the Sun, &c.', from himself. Harrison would like to speak to Foster about this tomorrow. In the meantime Harrison has not included Lockyer's paper.

Since Harrison saw Foster he has received an official Report from the Solar Eclipse Committee on the subject.
