TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to [Edwin Bailey Elliott], President of the London Mathematical Society, 22 Abermale Street, W
Date12 November 1896
DescriptionAt the meeting of Council held last week it was resolved that the London Mathematical Society should be added to the list of those institutions the Presidents of which may recommend cases for the consideration of the Scientific Relief Committee.

The printed circular enclosed herewith [not attached], which is sent annually to the President of Societies which are thus privileged, will perhaps sufficiently explain the meaning of this resolution, but if any further information is required as to the purposes of the Fund or mode of procedure, Harrison shall be happy to furnish it to the best of his ability.
