TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Manager, Whitehall Rooms, Hotel Metropole
Date27 November 1896
DescriptionEncloses a list of the toasts to be printed on the back of the menu card for the [Anniversary] dinner on Monday [not attached]. Asks for the menu to be revised my omitting oysters and substituting caviare at some suitable place in the menu.

Harrison has ascertained that the Fellows like to have coffee in the dinning room immediately after dinner, and tea in the reception room afterwards, where also mineral waters and spirits should be served.

The number of diners is currently 257 and having regard to the large number paid for on this occasion, Harrison would be glad to learn that no extra charge will be made for the refreshments served in the reception room.

The printers have orders to write cards for all the names received up to tomorrow morning and to deliver them to the Whitehall rooms early Monday morning. A gentleman from the Society's office will call at the Hotel tomorrow with the seating plan.
