TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Major Percy Alexander MacMahon, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 December 1896
DescriptionWith regard to Professor [James Joseph] Sylvester's 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' which MacMahon was enquiring about yesterday, it appears that Professor Sylvester has not claimed any since 23 January 1894. For these arrears the statues allow Sylvester to take up the volumes published during the last five years, but a special application to Council must be made for all volumes issued prior to this.
