TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles Chree, Kew Observatory, Richmond, Surrey
Date14 January 1897
DescriptionHarrison responds to Chree's letters of 7 January to state that he hopes to send a cheque in the next few days, to include Income Tax from the amount recovered the previous year amounting to £14-19-3. The legal charges in the previous year's accounts were in connection with the name change of the Observatory. He explains that the form in which the Gassiot Trust Account is published is settled by the Treasurer, and Harrison has no authority to change it.

Harrison also asks that Chree let him know when he is ready for more copies of the 'Description of the Kew Observatory'. The only other purpose he has for them is to distribute to the National Physical Observatory Committee.
