TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date18 January 1897
DescriptionJames explains that the summonses to the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' Committee meeting had not been sent to the five Officers as they had been overlooked by the new junior staff member, owing to the fact that they were not on the printed list. He has sent them out himself.

He also explains that he sent Mr Roberts home on the Friday as he appeared unwell, and they have heard nothing of him since. James has written to ask the reason, as it is 'very awkward' at the moment.
