TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date19 January 1897
DescriptionJames sends a draft Council card for Foster's approval. He also corrects a mistake in the list of the past and present members of the Government Grant Board, noting that General Strachey is not the Chairman of Board B, and so he has ordered 50 more copies with the correct name, Professor Unwin.

James is also having the Foreign Member list of suggested names reprinted so that it can be sent round. Several names from the previous list have been struck off as being outside the year's limit of time. He will have it ready for Foster on Thursday. He also notes that there is a letter from Sir W Hely Hutchinson.
