DescriptionJames describes the box they have at the Royal Society containing bottles of the various sands in the Nile Delta, which are samples collected by the Delta Boring Committee from their active operations in Egypt some years previously. He asks that it be conveyed to Captain Lyons, Geological Survey Office, Public Works Department, Cairo through the War Office. They would be glad to deliver the box to allow them to forward it on.
