TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 February 1897
Description'Dear Sir,
The enclosed invitation was addressed to the President of the Iron and Steel Institution, who has, however, written to say that he is unable to attend and has suggested your being invited, as a Member of the Council of the Iron and Steel Institute, to attend the meeting. I much regret that it has not been possible from the circumstances of the case to send you longer notice, but if you should happen to be in town, I trust that it may be in time to enable you to be present.
I am, yours faithfully,
Robt Harrison
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
