TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Charles Thomas Heycock, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 February 1897
DescriptionHarrison explains that Professor Arthur Rucker has shown him Heycock's letter and asked him to forward the enclosed reply on the main subject of his enquiry.

He does not understand why the volumes of 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' published last year have not yet reached Heycock. Having received Heycock's letter in January, Harrison made enquiries and discovered that the written application for despatch of the volumes had not been received, so he immediately gave instructions that they should be forwarded, and as far as he can trace, these instructions went through the regular channels, and his name is now entered in their book of standing orders.

The volume for 1896 is expected from the printers, and the separate papers have been held over for the issue of the index number, which they felt would be better to accompany Heycock's set. In future, separate papers will be sent to him direct from the printers.
