TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edward Albert Sharpey-Schafer, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physiology Committee
Date19 February 1897
DescriptionDr [Michael] Foster has asked Schafer to write to Schafer about Heape's paper 'On Artificial Insemination of Mammalia', read on 11th February.

The paper was accepted and marked for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and duly reported to the Physiology Committee, and after wards to the Council. After reading of the paper the Council have referred it back to Schafer's Committee for reconsideration under Standing Order 38, and the publication is in the meantime postponed. Harrison is not presently aware of the reason for this action but presumes Schafer is.
