| Description | Harrison has just received Lockyer's note, proofs, et cetera. He hopes to have the proof of the rest of the paper from Harrison's this morning, and has made arrangements with them to have 100 copies of the whole paper struck off as uncorrected proof by Monday afternoon.
If Lockyer wishes the addition 'Chapter 12--General Conclusions' to go round with the rest of the paper, the only way of doing this in the time seems to be for Lockyer's printers to print off 100 copies and let Harrison have them by Monday afternoon, when he will tack it on for the purposes of the meeting, to the rest of the paper. If Lockyer agrees to this Harrison asks him to give the necessary order.
Presumes the final paragraph as to thanks et cetera is not essential to circulation before the meeting. If possible they will get the blocks inserted in their places, but Harrison will not allow the paper to be delayed on that account. |
