TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date18 December 1896
DescriptionHarrison encloses a sheet of the 'Record' with an alternative sentence for the last paragraph which make clear the facts they have discovered about the Academy of Sciences and Monsieur de Monmort[?]. He also encloses proof of the Sectional Committees minutes with an associated note.

He asks if Foster intends to run on the Register numbers of papers received into the following year, in the series beginning with the New Standing Orders, or, if he should begin again with number 1 for the first paper received in 1897. If the latter, Harrison wishes to start a new form of Register, which they have often discussed.
