TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Dr Maxwell Tyldel Masters, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date2 April 1897
DescriptionFoster hopes Masters' flu soon ends. Tomes has an idea that [Samuel James Augustus] Salter lived, at least for some time, in White's house at Selbourne[?]. Foster asks if Masters knows this is true.

In an additional postscript in another hand Salter's 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' paper 'On the Structure and Growth of the Tooth of Echinus' is mentioned.
