DescriptionWith reference to Gore's letter in which he kindly offers an exhibit for the approaching Soirée, a proposal which Harrison will take the first opportunity of laying before the Soiree Committee, Harrison will be much obliged if Gore could provide a reference for his paper 'On the Effect of Proximity of Substances on Voltaic Action' and would furnish, on the form which Harrison has sent by this morning's post, a short account of the apparatus, suitable for insertion in the catalogue of exhibits.
