| Description | Harrison encloses acknowledgement of the Akademie's Band XXIII of the 'Politische Correspondenz Friedrich's des Grossen'. AS the demands of the Society's library are almost exclusively for works relating to the natural science, and as the space available for works of general literature is small, the Council proposes in future to hand the volumes of this important series to a neighbouring institution, the London Library, one of the principal libraries of London, which is largely used by literary men and to whom such a work would be of the greatest value.
The Council trust this will meet with Schmoller's Commission and that they may continue to receive the remaining volumes of this series as they are issued. |
