| Description | Harrison has Schafer's card but fears it is impracticable to have a meeting at the Society on the afternoon of the 19th, that being also the day of the Soiree. There are no other fixtures so far in that week excepting Council on the 20th, followed by the Bakerian Lecture.
Harrison encloses a note from Dr [Michael] Foster [not attached] concerning a paper from Sir Richard Quain and Harrison awaits Schafer's instructions.
Dr Mott is unable to take Risien Russell's paper, 'The Origin and Destination of certain Afferent and Efferent Tracts in the Medulla oblongata', as second referee. Professor Sherrington has returned the paper but not sent Harrison his report. Harrison asks Schafer for instructions regarding a second referee. |
